This year we are running our Girls Snowboard week in association with Gypsy Snowboarding. We have added much more to our popular girls week. The main difference is now we will include 15 hours of coaching from the female driven snowboard school Gypsy Snowboarding. This rad new snowboard school is ran by Sarah Fish and Laura Berry who are 2 of the UK’s top snowboard instructors. They will be teaching you how to improve your snowboarding across the week. The girls shred week will still be based in our catered chalet Chalet Emile. This is a girls snowboarding holiday with a difference, come and experience the alps with like-minded girls in our luxury catered chalet whether you are looking to improve your riding or you’re a seasoned rider this is a great week for all.

Girls Snowboard Week will include

• Catered Chalet accommodation.
• Local Avoriaz liftpass.
• 15 hrs of coaching over 5 days, tailored to help you get the most out of the week.
• Free return transfers from Geneva.
• Workshops on 3 evenings.

Instruction

You will have 15 hours of group instruction across the week. Sarah and Laura will spend the first evening chatting to you so you can work out goals to achieve over the week. This means you get the most out of the instruction on offer.

There will be 3 evening workshops which will include board set up and maintenance, riding analysis, how to improve your style and tech talk.

Gypsy Snowboarding also invite you to join their girls shred day on Wednesday so you can go and ride with the locals.

Chalet Emile – Girls snowboard week 

Chalet Location

Chalet Emile is in an ideal location being situated between the Nyon cable car, 6 minutes walk away, and Morzine town centre, 8 minutes minutes walk away. For your convenience we also offer a shuttle mini bus service to and from the lifts in the mornings and afternoons plus the bus stops are just 100m from the chalet taking you to and from each of Morzine’s lifts.

Board basis

Chalet Emile is run on a catered basis, this includes a continental breakfast with a hot option, homemade afternoon tea and a four course dinner with plenty of good quality wine. The chalet staff live out of the chalet and have 1 day off per week breakfast is still provided on their day off and on the evening you will have the chance to sample one of Morzine’s fabulous restaurants.
