This year we are again running our ever popular snowboard camp in association with Gypsy Snowboarding. This year we will offer two camps, a pre-Christmas camp open to all abilities to get into the swing of winter and later in the season an early spring week to enjoy the whole of the Portes du Soleil for intermediate riders. We will include 5 full days of coaching from the snowboard school Gypsy Snowboarding. This rad new snowboard school is run by Sarah Fish and Jason Rickwood who are 2 of the UK’s top snowboard instructors. They will be teaching you how to improve your snowboarding across the week. Our week will be based in our luxurious catered property Chalet Carclion. in December and Chalet Emile in March. This is a snowboarding holiday with a difference, come and experience the alps with like-minded people in our Morzine town centre catered chalet whether your looking to improve or you’re a seasoned rider this is a great week for all.

Instruction

You will have 5 full days of group instruction across the week. Sarah and Jason will spend the first evening chatting to you so you can work out goals to achieve over the week. This means you get the most out of the instruction on offer. This year we are including an Avoriaz Pass for the December trip and a Full Area Portes du Soleil Pass for the March trip as we are committed to finding the best place and conditions for you to ride each day.

Chalet Carclion – Gypsy tRips Snowboard Camp

Chalet Location

Chalet Carclion is in an ideal central location being situated 5 minutes walk from the Mairie and bars. The Super Morzine lift is just 10 minutes walk away. For your convenience we also offer a shuttle mini bus service to and from the lifts in the mornings and afternoons plus the ski bus stops just 200m from the chalet taking you to and from each of Morzine’s lifts.

Board basis

Chalet Carclion is a large catered chalet. Catered means we include breakfast with a hot option, homemade afternoon tea and a four course dinner with plenty of good quality wine on 6 days to include our crowd pleasing help yourself Savoyard dinner one evening.

The chalet staff have two days off per week breakfast is still provided on both days off on a self serve basis. In the evening you will be able to sample delicious Savoyard dinner in the chalet on a self service basis and then have the chance to sample one of Morzine’s fabulous restaurants on the following staff night off.

Chalet Emile – Gypsy tRips Snowboard Camp

Do you want a Morzine chalet with hot tub? Then Chalet Emile is the perfect chalet for you as it boasts a large 8 person outdoor hot tub with view fantastic views across the Morzine valley. This chalet is  fully catered and located in central Morzine. The chalet sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. This chalet has a spacious living area with plenty of seating for 8 plus people. Chalet Emile makes the ideal location for your Morzine chalet holiday.

Riders Refuge have hand picked this Morzine chalet with hot tub to provide a perfect base in a great central location. Chalet Emile has four bedrooms that can be arranged as king-size or twin rooms. Two bedrooms have their own balcony and on the ground floor there is a sun terrace complete with outdoor Hot Tub.

This makes this Morzine chalet with hot tub the perfect place to relax after a hard day on the mountain.
At the heart of the chalet is the most important room an open kitchen and dining area, where you will enjoy delicious home cooked food and unlimited complimentary wine with dinner. The comfy living area gives you the opportunity to socialise with your fellow guests.
In the living area you can enjoy a night watching the flat screen TV with freesat HDTV along with a media centre containing loads of films, TV series and snowboarding movies. There is also a Wii games console and a selection of games, Wi-Fi internet access and a laptop for your use. Chalet Emile is within an 6 minute walk to the Morzine nightlife if you want to get out and party. This is the ultimate Morzine chalet with hot tub.

Chalet Location

Chalet Emile is in an ideal location for your ski holiday. The chalet is situated between the Nyon cable car, 6 minutes walk away, and Morzine town centre, 8 minutes minutes walk away.

For your convenience we also offer a shuttle mini bus service to and from the lifts in the mornings and after 16:30 in the afternoons.  Plus the bus stops are just 100m from the chalet taking you to and from each of Morzine’s lifts. The chalet is located adjacent to Chalet Eterle meaning we can accommodate groups of up to 20 people.

Board basis

Chalet Emile is run on a catered basis. This includes a continental breakfast with a different hot option each day. Homemade afternoon tea and a four course dinner with plenty of good quality wine.

The chalet staff live out of the chalet. They have two days off per week breakfast is still provided on both day off on a self serve basis. On the first evening your chalet host will prepare and leave for you a traditional Savoyard dinner for you to enjoy on a self serve basis. On the following evening you will have the chance to sample one of Morzine’s fabulous restaurants. We are happy to recommend and pre-book restaurants for you.
