This year we are again running our ever popular snowboard camp in association with Gypsy Snowboarding. This year we will offer two camps, a pre-Christmas camp open to all abilities to get into the swing of winter and later in the season an early spring week to enjoy the whole of the Portes du Soleil for intermediate riders. We will include 5 full days of coaching from the snowboard school Gypsy Snowboarding. This rad new snowboard school is run by John Weatherley (Trap Lord of “The Booby Trap” UK Snowboard Instruction and Freestyle Coaching). Our weeks will be based in our luxurious catered property Chalet Cuveloup. This is a snowboarding holiday with a difference, come and experience the alps with like-minded people in our Morzine town centre catered chalet whether your looking to improve or you’re a seasoned rider this is a great week for all.

Instruction

You will have 5 full days of group instruction across the week. The Guys from Gypsy will spend the first evening chatting to you so you can work out goals to achieve over the week. This means you get the most out of the instruction on offer. This year we are including an Avoriaz Pass for the December trip and a Full Area Portes du Soleil Pass for the March trip as we are committed to finding the best place and conditions for you to ride each day.

Chalet Cuveloup – Gypsy tRips Snowboard Camp

Chalet Cuveloup is the latest addition to the Riders Refuge portfolio. Sleeping up to 13 in 6 spacious bedrooms it is the perfect chalet for large groups of friends or family. Located just 10 minutes walk from the Super Morzine lift and the centre of Morzine it is the ideal location for your Morzine chalet holiday. Shuttles in our minibus to any of the Morzine lifts each morning and return in the afternoons are just part of the excellent service you will receive in this fully catered chalet. On return to the chalet why not relax in our fabulous outdoor hot tub and enjoy spectacular views over the Pleney slopes.

Riders Refuge have selected this property to provide the ideal base for your Morzine chalet holiday. Chalet Cuveloup has six spacious bedrooms five can be arranged as king-size or twin rooms and one can be a twin, double or triple room. Two bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and on the first floor there is a sun terrace complete with outdoor Hot Tub.

At the heart of the chalet is the open plan kitchen and dining area, where you will enjoy delicious home cooked food and unlimited complimentary wine with dinner. Leading off from the dining room is the comfy living area complete with central log burning fire place which is the perfect space to relax and socialise with your fellow guests.
In the living area you can enjoy a night watching the flat screen TV with freesat HDTV along with a media centre containing loads of films or if you prefer you can stream your own. There is also a Wii games console and a selection of games and Wi-Fi internet access throughout the chalet. Chalet Cuveloup is a 10 minute walk to the Morzine nightlife if you want to get out and party. This really is the perfect location for your Morzine chalet holiday.

Chalet Location

Chalet Cuveloup is in an ideal location for your ski holiday. The chalet is situated 10 minutes walk away from the Super Morzine lift and Morzine town centre on a quiet road on the Montriond side of the valley.

For your convenience we also offer a shuttle minibus service to and from the lifts in the mornings and after 16:30 in the afternoons.  Plus the bus stops for Morzine and the Ardent lift are just 100m from the chalet.

Board basis

Chalet Cuveloup is run on a catered basis. This includes a continental breakfast with a different hot option each day. Homemade afternoon tea and a four course dinner with plenty of good quality wine.

The chalet staff live out of the chalet. They have two days off per week breakfast is still provided on their days off on a self serve basis. On the first evening the chalet staff will prepare and leave you a delicious Savoyard dinner in the chalet for you to enjoy on a self service basis. On the second evening you will have the chance to sample one of Morzine’s fabulous restaurants. We are happy to recommend and pre-book restaurants for you.
